Award Description
This award trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. The CWA does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.
About
CWA Training Course is at Salford Watersports Centre and West View Leisure Centre Preston. The Course will include the Abseil module training. Please make sure you have registered for the Climbing Wall Award and Abseil module with your home nation board (e.g. Mountain Training, MT.S) and that you make yourself familiar with the syllabus and the entry requirements for the course you will also need to present your CWA log book (with appropriate experience) to the course director at the start of the course.
