Award Description
This award trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to teach lead climbing skills on indoor or outdoor artificial climbing walls and structures with fixed protection. It builds on the skills acquired in either the CWA or SPA award, one of which candidates must hold to access the CWLA scheme.
About
The XC is a great venue for candidates to prove their competency for the Mountain Training CWLA; an on-site cafe for chill out and food, a perfect venue boasting many lines and boulder areas for candidates to experience the range of methods available for teaching Lead Climbing. Many lead routes across all grades and angles make CWLA very well suited to XC. We look forward to meeting you there.
