WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES

Join us for a day to develop your understanding of contours and interpretation of shape when navigating. Get tuned in to the one feature on your map that you can always rely on. An ideal workshop for anyyone involved in teaching navigation, or those wanting to improve their navigation ahead of an assessment. 

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED

Come prepared for a day in the hills with enough kit to keep you warm, dry and happy. Contour only maps of the area will be provided on the workshop.

CATERING/FOOD

Lunch, flask and snacks as desired.

WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS

Matt Woodfield is a Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor and HML course director. He has worked extencively across the Brecon Beacons and other national parks teaching navigation as well as training and assessing on Mountain Training courses. 

CANCELLATION PROCEDURE

Cancel before 4 weeks for a full refund. 

Cancel before 1 week for a 50% refund.

Feel free to pass your place onto another candidate if you can no longer attend.
