Weather and avalanche forecast.

Enthuses on foot work - kicking steps - cutting steps
Safe use of snow shows - micro spikes.
Snow belays and rope work.
Discussion debrief depart.
The workshop will be delivered by Dave Norris who has extensive winter experience and has delivered IML winter CPD for several years. Works in Scotland during the winter also conducting winter skills close to Aneto and his home in the French Pyrenees. He knows the local area well and can always find safe venues that are conducive to learning.
Please bring all the relevant equipment and clothing for a winters day of practical CPD in the mountains including:
- Snowshoes
- Microspikes
- Walking axe
- Slings & karabiners
- Walking Poles
- Safety rope 7 or 7.5mm, 20m
- Packed lunches and beverages.
- Pen and paper
The cost of the workshop is 150 Euros for BAIML members and 180 Euro for non-members. A minimum of 4 attendees is required for the workshop to run. Please book directly with Dave via email to loucdaven@hotmail.com
