Improve your short roping workshop run by Kath James - A day to have those burning questions answered and to brush up on your short roping. We will look at hand coils to chest coils, long pitches, short pitches, distances between people, different belays, how to look after yourself, route finding, going up, going down, traverses .... This day will run on a 1:3 ratio.

With years experience of working at Plas y Brenin Kath has built up a wealth of knowledge in scrambling and mountaineering in both the summer and winter environments.

Kath have extensive experience of training and assessing and directing  Mountain Training qualifications from HML to WMCI. 

We will meet at the Tyn y Coed and head to a suitable venue for the day. You need to bring along your scrambling kit, and suitable clothing food and drink for the day.
