WORKSHOP CONTENT
This is a Lowland Leader peer led skills day designed for anyone undertaking their Lowland Leader qualification and currently in consolidation between training and assessment. It will provide an opportunity to explore the Lowland Leader syllabus and practice many of the required skills.
The day starts at 9:30am and will end around 3:30pm at Lode in Cambridgeshire.
We will follow paths and tracks around the local area and villages. We will use the OS Explorer Map (226).
Depending on the weather, there will be an opportunity to hold a pre-brief and de-brief in the Café at Anglesey Abbey National Trust Property.
EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED
As this is a peer-led event you are responsible for your own safety and well-being. If you have any medical conditions which might affect you during the workshop, please contact the leader in advance.
WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS
This workshop is being facilitated by Claire Hunter. She holds Camping Leader, Lowland Leader, Hill & Moorland Leader and Mountain Leader qualifications. Claire is also a DofE Leader, Supervisor, Assessor and Trustee at the Cambridgeshire Open Award Centre holding a NNAS Tutor award. In addition, Claire is a professional certified coach and mindfulness facilitator. She runs her own company: Elysian Leadership, combining leadership development, coaching, mindfulness and the outdoors.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE EVENT
Your CPD record - If you attend this event and it counts as CPD, your CPD point/s will automatically be added to your record in due course - you will not need to add it yourself.
