I am Kath James and I am a Winter Mountaineering & Climbing Instructor and International Mountain Leader based in North Wales. I work full time as an instructor and have done for the last 20 years. I have worked in outdoor education with young people providing experiences across multiple disciplines, as well as delivering skills courses in summer and winter. A big part of my work now is in training and assessing folks to be leaders and instructors. Having worked for the last decade on the higher level Mountain Training qualifications I am well placed to share my knowledge and experience to help support others on the journey to those awards - whether it is Winter Mountain Leader, Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor, Winter Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor or International Mountain Leader I have knowledge and experience to share and would really encourage people to join myself and Nicola to learn more about pursuing this rewarding career path.
