WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES

Join us for an evening of adventure and skill-building as we head out to practise poor visibility and night navigation.

These peer-led sessions are fantastic opportunities to refresh, refine, and grow your navigation confidence in a supportive environment. Night navigation isn’t something we often get to practise—so come and make the most of it!

The session will have a flexible outline, with plenty of space for everyone to contribute ideas and shape the evening together. Whether you’re qualified or working towards an assessment, this is a brilliant chance to share expertise, learn from others, and gain valuable experience in realistic conditions.

If you book a space, please commit to attending. Should your plans change, cancel promptly to allow others to join. If something unexpected comes up at the last hour minute, please let us know—courtesy and good communication help these sessions run smoothly for everyone.

MEETING LOCATION:

Please use the Grid Reference as an accurate meeting point and park considerately roadside by the triangular verge. Even better if you can lift share!

Once we have met, we will lift-share to the Halvanna Plantation car park (limited parking here) and back to access the East Moor. 

EQUIPMENT / KIT REQUIRED

Come prepared with your usual hill kit, including a warm layer, hot drink, and a reliable head torch.
Bring a compass and local map.
