Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to supervise climbers on purpose built artificial climbing walls and boulders. The scheme does not include the skills and techniques required to teach lead climbing.

During the course and in a dedicated 1:1 session at the end, we give you personalised feedback and work with you to create an action plan. This makes your progression to a successful assessment as swift as possible.

You can book and pay for the Climbing Wall Instructor Training Course directly through the website.
We regularly run the course in Sheffield (using the Foundry and Awesome Walls) but can run the course at other venues if desired.
Beyond the Edge also provide the Outdoor First Aid course required before assessment.
