Award Description
The Hill and Moorland Leader qualification is designed for people who want to lead groups in the hill and moorland areas of the UK and Ireland. This qualification is a wonderful opportunity to learn the leadership skills required to feel confident about taking people out walking. As you may have guessed from its descriptive title, it focuses on non-mountainous terrain.

We regularly run the course in the Peak District, but can run the course at other venues if desired. We also provide the required Outdoor First Aid Course if required.
We also provide the Outdoor First Aid course required for your HML assessment. A range of CPD courses including Navigation and Environmental workshops will also help in preparation for assessment.
