MTA CPD and social weekend in Bannau Brycheiniog

Join us in Bannau Brycheiniog for a weekend of CPD, adventure, and great company! Whether you’re looking to refresh your navigation skills, prepare for Hill & Moorland or Mountain Leader assessment, explore new terrain, or simply enjoy a sociable escape to the Welsh hills, this weekend has something for everyone.

We'll be out all day Saturday and Sunday morning and will provide a choice of sessions most of which will include navigation, flora and fauna, wildlife and an environment focus. We will encourage peer leading but will also try and cater for any specific requests such as rope work or night navigation etc.  

On Saturday evening we will put on an evening meal for everyone - so just bring your tipple of choice.

MTA Southern Region CPD and Social Weekend 24-26th April – Fill out form

This weekend is being organised by Jo Ireland South East Region Co-ordinator and David Tainton - Dorset and Somerset Region Co-ordinator. It is open to all MTA members but if overbooked preference will be given to members in the South who do not get the opportunity to attend events in this terrain as often. 

What’s included:

Accomodation Friday and Saturday evening

Evening meal for everyone Saturday evening

Tea, coffee and milk provided.

Communal well equipped kitchen.

What you need to bring:

Friday - food for the evening if you need it, arrival is from 5pm.

Saturday - Breakfast, lunch, snacks.

Sunday - Breakfast, snacks.

Drinks - please bring your own if required in addition to the tea/coffee which will be provided.

Your CPD record - If you attend this event and it counts as CPD, your CPD point/s will automatically be added to your record in due course - you will not need to add it yourself.
