WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES

During these two days we will be on 'expedition' and will aim to cover as many of the syllabus points for ML as we can in the time available. This will include day and night navigation, ML ropework, steep ground leadership and group management, campcraft, and environmental considerations.

We will camp wild overnight, and go out on night navigation from the camp.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED

You should bring your expedition kit and rucksack, including tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag, stove and food. A full kit list will be sent out upon booking.

CATERING/FOOD

You'll need your own food for two days, including an evening meal for at camp.

Graham Uney Mountaineering are a major provider of Mountain Leader training and assessment courses.

CANCELLATION PROCEDURE

If you cancel more than 4 weeks prior to the start of the workshop you will be given a full refund. Less than 4 weeks, and you will only be given a refund if we can find someone to take your place on the workshop.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE EVENT

Your CPD record - If you attend this event and it counts as CPD, your CPD point/s will automatically be added to your record in due course - you will not need to add it yourself.
