WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
Join us on our second social and networking walk this year and meet up with other members. It provides members an opportunity to interact, exchange information and help one another with tips and knowledge in our shared interest and enjoyment of the outdoors.
The walk starts from the free NT car park in Pinkneys Drive, Stubbings, nr. Maidenhead Thicket (an area full of history of Dick Turpin and fellow highwaymen) and heads through to the beautiful conservation area in Burchetts Green before ascending Ashley Hill to the trig point Lodge before heading through the beautiful Chiltern landscape to Warren Row for a cafe stop. We return through another historic horse racing stud farm and past the The Dew Drop Inn, a hide out for Turpin after his holdups to the car park.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED
OS Explorer 172 Chiltern Hills East if you would like to bring a map although it will be fully led. Appropriate outdoor kit for the weather/conditions on the day
CATERING/FOOD
Pls. bring your own packed lunch,snacks and drinks as required. There is a cafe in Warren Row village which does hot soup, sandwiches and beverages etc.
