Fancy brushing up on your navigation skills without sitting through a lecture? Join us for a relaxed, peer-to-peer navigation workshop focused on getting the most out of the trusty 1:25,000 map.
We’ll get hands-on with map reading, grid references, contours, bearings, pacing and route planning, with plenty of practical challenges and opportunities to share tips, tricks and hard-earned experience.
Whether you’re looking to sharpen up your Mountain Leader skills, build confidence before heading into the hills, or simply want to stop staring at the map and wondering “where the hell am I?” — this session is for you.
