Micro Nav - getting ready for assessment - Great Langdale - meeting at Stickle Ghyll carpark 7pm. This session is aimed at preparation for assessment - it will involve complex navigation at night in complex terrain. Ideally you should have attended the previous session - but as ever we're open to all - but the navigation on this session will be harder.... Attendees should be comfortable in the mountains at night. Essential kit: Map & Compass - we'll have some different types for comparison - but bring what you're happiest with. Maps for the area include OS OL7 1:25:000, also worth bringing OL6 if you have a copy Head torch - ideally two - but spare batteries if not! Waterproofs Warm drink Money for a pub afterwards &... A sense of humour... This is a peer led session, so there'll always be at least one fully qualified and experienced ML on hand - but most sessions will be led by Kelvyn James who is a working IML
