This session is intended for members who want to develop or brush up their navigation in challenging conditions. It is the first in a progressive series of three - the skills practised will lead into the next session - hopefully at the end of all three you'll have a good "poor vis" tool kit! We'll be starting with understanding our own pacings & timings - how conditions can alter that & how we can allow for that both in planning and dynamically when we're out. This is a peer to peer session - but will be led by a working International Mountain Leader. We will be meeting in Threlkeld at 18.30 at the Sally. I know that things can change quickly for folk - but if you book onto this course & can't make it pleae let me know as we often have a waiting list. Members are reminded this is a peer led event and all members are responsible for themselves whilst on the hill.
