This two day direct entry qualification course will focus on; route setting good practice, the creative process, hold attachment, rescues, rope-work, WAH regulations, LOLER/PUWER, ladder use, equipment, tools and more. The course is intended for climbers who have a have a basic level of rope-work skills, can lead / belay and and ability to lead F6b indoors comfortably. The course is also appropriate for designated route setter rescuers. Attendance on Level 1 is NOT a pre-requirement for this course. It will be taught by Nate McMullan, Professional Route Setter, RSA Senior Trainer, IRATA qualified technician and Mountaineering Instructor. All equipment provided. This course is approved for 1 MTA or 2 AMI CPD points. All PPE / Safety equipment, course manual and a selection of tools are included in the course cost.
