This workshop aims to develop your understanding and knowledge of the nature of the mountain environment. The workshop focuses on the environment of Snowdonia and identification of flowers but also providing an overview of the mountain environment in general. The course is designed to help you to identify the special features and characteristics of the natural world with attention to the relationship between rock type, water and plantlife. We also look at the landscape from its past processes mainly its volcanic and mountain building history giving a sense of timescale. We discuss the current, post-glacial environment from its habitats to human impacts including conservation and farming issues. The pace of the course is intentionally leisurely (not racing up a mountain!) as clients regularly take photos and spend time making notes along the way. This workshop is eligible for MTA, AMI, Baiml and BMG CPD points
