Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
The day is split into two parts.
Part 1 Review and discussion about experiences of delivering the revised Mountain Training climbing schemes
In the morning we will review the revised climbing schemes by sharing the feedback received to date from Providers and their staff; and collating any additional comments/feedback about the guidance contained within the current scheme handbooks and trainer/assessor guidance notes.
Part 2 Indoor Climbing Assistant Induction
After lunch, this is an induction for all those – Providers and their current associated Course Directors who wish to be involved in the delivery of the new Indoor Climbing Assistant. This induction will focus on the syllabus, candidate guidance notes, and the associated trainer/assessor guidance notes.
