Award Description
The Hill and Moorland Leader award is designed for people who want to lead groups in the hill and moorland areas of the UK and Ireland. This award is a wonderful opportunity to learn the leadership skills required to feel confident about taking people out walking. As you may have guessed from the descriptive title of this award, it focuses on non-mountainous terrain.

Hill and Moorland is the new version of the WGL Scheme.
This is a three-day assessment course based at Darwen in the West Pennine Moors and or the Forest of Bowland of Lancashire.
WGL or Hill and Moorland Registration and Log Book required. Have attended a training course or gained exemption, 16hr First Aid certificate, completed reference page and a complete and up to date log book or Dlog required. Please call for our course booking form. On returning we will post out course conformation details, etc.
Course fee £240 includes VAT. Course is non residential.
