WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
Spend a day on Helvellyn exploring and discussing how an ML can work in summer conditions with groups on the classic grade 1 scrambles of Striding Edge and Swirral Edge, and remain within remit of the award.
This is NOT a ropework refresher. The idea of the workshop is to look at group sizes, personal familiarisation, knowing your group members, understand weather implications, and route choice.
This workshop is perfect for qualified MLs who want to work on Helvellyn, but who understand that scrambling ground is a grey area in terms of remit and the scope of the scheme.
