Award Description
The Expedition Skills Module is an optional module available to walking leaders. It's an opportunity to increase your skills where you will be trained and assessed to lead groups on multi day camping expeditions.
This module is designed as an addition to the Lowland Leader and Hill and Moorland Leader Awards to train and assess those who wish to lead groups on multi day camping expeditions in terrain and conditions within the scope of their leadership award.
The Expeditions Skills Module course aims to develop and assess the technical skills, judgements and areas of knowledge deemed necessary to ensure an individual is safe to do so.
This is a 2 day course with an overnight camp.
