Aim of the Workshop:
This free peer-led event will provide an opportunity for members of the CE Region to get together in a relaxed setting to practice and discuss low visibilty/night navigation skills. Bearings, pacing and timingswill be used following a planned route. However, if you just want to join us for a meander around the flatlands, you will be most welcome.
As the new co-ordinator for Central England I will look forward to meeting you and will be keen to hear your thoughts and views on how, together, we can develop an event programme to meet requirements.
Equipment & Kit Required:
Your personal walking kit appropriate for the forecasted weather conditions. Equipment should include OS Map 235, compass and head torch.
Refreshment:
There will be an oppportunity for a quick break. If you wish to bring a flask/snack, please do so.
