What
This will be a Peer led navigation practice based around Peak District aircraft wrecks. It is an opportunity to practice and consolidate navigation skills by navigating to small defined points in open moorland.
This could contribute to Preparation for Hill & Moorland Leader. Summer ML or Lowland leader as an opportunity to practice skills along with peers.
Information about the aircraft involved and how they came to crash will be provided. This will give place related information for use if visiting the sites with groups in the future.
Kit
Suitable clothing for a day on the hill whatever the weather.

Where and When
Meet at Doctors Gate parking area on A57 snake road GR 096 928 on Dark Peak 1;25000 map.
Saturday 13 April 2019 at 10 30 am and aim to finish about 4 00pm. We could then adjourn to the Snake Inn to review and share info about the aircraft.
