Award Description
Our Rock Skills courses are designed to provide structured training opportunities for people who want to learn more and become independent climbers. There are three different levels so that complete beginners and those with more experience can choose the most appropriate starting point.
About
Lead climbing is what climbing is really all about, exploring new rock and making your own choices. We teach you the skills you need to keep yourself and your climbing partners safe so you can be independent outdoors. Your instructor Lachlan is a full member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors and highly experienced at developing people for lead climbing on both sport and trad.
With a focus on maximum climbing in the two days we cover a whole range of essential skills for lead climbing, with low instructor to student ratios (max 1:3) we are able to tailor the training and coaching to best suit you.
This course is run at Symonds Yat which is ideal for Learn to Lead, if you would prefer a different part of the country or dates and then we can run this course bespoke for 2 -3 people.
