For members of Central Scotland MTA & the UK, an evening of shared navigation practice with the opportunity to benefit from input from NNAS Approved Tutors and practicing ML and Instructors. Please note that this will be informal and no programme of teaching or instructing will be available.
Central Scotland will be providing a formally run event on the 'Teaching and Coaching of Navigation' later in the year.
The event will meet in the village of Cambusbarron and, in-convoy, move onto Touch Moor from where the event will take place. The departure time from Cambusbarron Community Hall is guaranteed @ 1815hrs after which there is limited phone reception with each other.
Please use your own judgement as to what you wear and bring.
To gain the most from this session, you should have your own map. The map that is most favoured for use in this area is either a hard copy of OS: Explorer 348 Campsie Fells or an extract from your digital source with a minimum Grid boundary of Eastings: 72 to 76 and Northings 91 to 93
Other 'interesting' map extracts will be available to use or confuse.
