About

This course will be delivered in two parts:

1: Revisiting the problem solving and problem prevention mechanisms covered in the CWI and RCI award schemes, exploring how these are used in the work environment, and giving attendees the opportunity to practice these rarely used techniques.

2: Exploring the role of the “floorwalker” in climbing wall environments - applying technical skills and developing the people skills required to effectively manage climbing wall users.

The course will be delivered by Jay Jackson, an MIA and Coach with experience of climbing wall management, technical advice provision, and Mountain Training award scheme delivery.
