Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to develop rock climbers on single pitch crags, including teaching lead climbing. It builds on the skills acquired in the Rock Climbing Instructor, which candidates must hold to access the Rock Climbing Development Instructor scheme.
About
This course is the 4 day training course for the Mountain Training Scotland Rock Climbnig Development Instructor. The venues for the 4 days will be decided flexibly depending on weather and candidates needs but the current plan is for days 1 and 2: 11 and 12 Sept 21 to be in the Central Belt and days 3 and 4: 23 and 24 Sept 21 to be based in Speyside. 3 candidates are currently confirmed on the course.
