Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to lead hillwalking groups in summer conditions on mountainous routes not requiring the planned use of a rope. Established in 1964, this was the first qualification created by Mountain Training.
This assessment course is run in two phases, the first couple of days is based in the Peaks, followed by an expedition phase in Snowdonia. For more information contact Craig on 07710 422214. Course cost does not include accommodation. The course will start from the The Cheshire Cheese Inn, in the Hope Valley, moving onto North Wales, for a three day expedition. The will finish in North Wales.
