WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES

This workshop is aimed at members who are working toward an award or currently hold one, and would like a refresher. Night nav/low visibility navigation is a key skill and features in the assessments for most of the walking awards. We aim to develop skills and knowledge in a freindly and relaxed learning environment.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED

Usual hillwalking kit based on weather forecast,own compass.Maps are supplied.

WORKSHOP PROVIDER CREDENTIALS

We are an approved Mountain Training provider for various awards,including Lowland Leader and Mountain Leader Awards. We run courses on a regular basis and are up to date with the current syllabi.
