All things techy! A discussion and overview about the use of altimeters, GPS units and smart phones apps / mapping when working as a Mountain Leader and how they fit into the Mountain Training qualifications.
This short online MTA session forms part of a free series of informative and interactive webinars designed to help provide continued support for members during the current lockdown. All sessions are hosted by experts in their fields and/or Mountain Training Course Directors that run training and assessment courses. The majority of our hosts are also current MTA workshop providers. All hosts are generously volunteering their time to run these sessions for members.
Timings:
We anticipate these sessions will last for about an hour, but please leave extra time in your schedule.
Webinar host:
Paul Poole is an experienced Mountain Training course director for ML training and assessment courses and runs a variety of workshops for MTA.

If you have a pre-prepared question that you'd like the host to answer as part of the session, please send it in at least 2 days before the event is due to take place - email your question, name, MTA ID and webinar title to belinda@mountain-training.org

What happens next:
If you're not already familiar with Zoom.us, you will need to create a free online Zoom account, then you're good to go!
One day before the event you will receive an email from us containing the Zoom code that allows you to access the webinar online.
