Award Description
The Hill and Moorland Leader award is designed for people who want to lead groups in the hill and moorland areas of the UK and Ireland. This award is a wonderful opportunity to learn the leadership skills required to feel confident about taking people out walking. As you may have guessed from the descriptive title of this award, it focuses on non-mountainous terrain.

Hill and Moorland is the new version of the WGL Scheme.
This is a three-day assessment course based at Darwen in the West Pennine Moors and or the Forest of Bowland of Lancashire. This is a none residential course.
Candidates must be registered with Mountain Training for the Hill and Moorland Leader Award scheme. The course is non residential. On completing our course booking form conformation details, etc will be sent out. Course fee £240 includes VAT. Course is non residential.
