Overcoming skill fade

A short interactive session to answer the following:

1. What is skill fade and how might it impact my practice?
2. How can I identify the challenges and problems it presents?
3. What opportunities I have to address skill fade?

The workshop will include exercises before and during the session and group work to help you answer these questions.

This short online MTA session forms part of a free series of informative and interactive webinars designed to help provide continued support for members during the current lockdown. All sessions are hosted by experts in their fields and/or Mountain Training Course Directors that run training and assessment courses. The majority of our hosts are also current MTA workshop providers. All hosts are generously volunteering their time to run these sessions for members.

Timings: 

We anticipate these sessions will last for about an hour.

Gavin Kelly is an experienced Mountain Training course director and runs practical remote supervision workshops for MTA.
