Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to develop rock climbers on single pitch crags, including teaching lead climbing. It builds on the skills acquired in the Rock Climbing Instructor, which candidates must hold to access the Rock Climbing Development Instructor scheme.
About
The Rock Climbing Development Instructor training course is 4 days long, and are all run but Stu McInnes/The Climbing Company. These will be highly rewarding and specialist courses run at small ratio to maximise your learning and development, with loads of climbing and technical input, coaching and hopefully fun in the sun!
This course is non residential giving you a range of options, and will be based in South Wales/The Gower. Loads of amazing crags in a beautiful setting and lots of climbing and learning guaranteed!
Registrations in the scheme require a solid log book and need to be approved by Mountain Trainings Technical Officer, details found here: Mountain Training
