This session will be run in line with the latest government Covid-19 guidelines.

Workshop Content & Learning Outcomes:

Come and join the MTA Central England regional team in the beautiful Swinley Forest in the heart of Berkshire for a social and some biking. The forest is on the edge of Windsor great park. Within this 3000 acre evergreen forest are three dedicated mountain bike tracks so if you haven’t had the bike out in a long while or if you are a hardened mountain bike rider there is something for everyone or if you don’t fancy riding the dedicated tracks there are miles of forest tracks within the forest and surrounding area that are shared with other forest users.

The idea of the day is so that MTA members can get together have some fun and get to know each other better, and even impress each other with our MTB skills or not.

Equipment & Kit Required:

Your personal bike kit appropriate for the forecasted weather conditions and your bike. Equipment might include OS Map 160 Windsor, Weybridge & Bracknell and anything else you may require?

Catering/Food:

There will be an opportunities to break during the day. If you wish to bring a flask/packed lunch, please do so. There is also a Café on site serving drinks and snacks.

Meeting time: 09:30 hrs. for 10:00hrs.

As a peer-led event, please be reminded, all members are responsible for themselves whilst out on the walk.

Neil Froggitt (ML), MTA Volunteer Regional Support & Mark McKenzie (ML), MTA Volunteer Regional Coordinator will be present at this event.

This is a peer-led event and as such attendees are responsible for their own welfare and must adhere to Covid-19 government guidelines regarding safety and social distancing. Please do not attend this event if you are displaying any Covid-19 symptoms.
