This regional event will take place online and is a chance for local members to get together and find out more about hill, moorland and mountain birds.
The session will involve a 1 hour presentation on birds found in UK Hill/Moorland and Mountain habitat, looking at species/identification/song, residents/migrants, colloquial names/tales, where you might see them, useful kit and resources. This will be followed by 30 minutes of open questions.
MTA regional volunteer and ML David Tainton will be hosting the event. David has spent 45 years birdwatching and has been an RSPB member for 35 years.
This event does count as CPD and is a great way to meet other members and be part of the MTA online community.
