WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
The Northern Cairngorms are a unique landscape and environment within the UK. A relic left over by the last glaciation, it is a gold mine of periglacial. fluvio-glacial and glacial landforms.
This day seeks to introduce you to some of the unique landforms to be found in the Cairngorms, and not just the usual ones.
We will be walking out to observe some of the fluvioglacial landforms which are rare in other areas of the UK.
By the end of the day you will be able to recognise and identify new landforms and explain how they got there.
