Award Description
The Lowland Leader qualification has been designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions. The majority of the UK and Ireland is made up of this type of terrain so you'll never be short of places to go walking.
About
Join us for a fun and relaxed training course covering the skills and knowledge required to lead groups in lowland terrain. Our courses use venues on and around Dartmoor and are carefully selected to enhance your learning experience and provide excellent examples of Lowland terrain as defined by Mountain Training.
Our courses are delivered using a variety of exercises, presentations and discussions designed to allow you to explore the Lowland Leader syllabus to help you fully understand the skills and knowledge needed to be a competent leader. Our aim is to ensure you leave the course confident and well prepared to undertake your consolidation period.
