Association of Mountaineering Instructors  (AMI)

 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Associated CPD Weekend 

The Hollowford Centre, Castleton, Hope Valley

22-24 April 2022

The re-arranged Annual General Meeting of the Association will take place at Hollowford Centre, Peak District , Saturday 23rd April 2022 (18:00). Along with the annual associated CPD workshops on 22-24 April 2022.

The AGM and CPD weekend is arranged with the realistic expectation that govenment guidance will permit events of this size to take place. The Hollowford Centre have provided re-assurance that they have measures in place to ensure the events can be delivered safely at their centre, this presently includes ample handwashing and hand santiser points, adequately sized meeting and workshop spaces, shared accommodation having beds adequately spaced and table service for meals. We will have sole use of the centre all weekend. The Hollowford Centre will provide can and bottle bar on site for Friday and Saturday evenings. Members should be assured that member safety is paramount and workshops will be run in line with government guidance at the time. 

How to book:

1. Please initally select one of the Booking Options 1-7.

2. Then select the Session(s) (workshops) you would like to book. Please make sure your workshops do not clash.

3. Pay for the selected Booking Option and Session(s).

Workshop bookings, if not full, will open up to others associations on Monday 8th March 2022.

Bookings will close at 9am on Monday 4th April 2022. 

Refund policy for any bookable events: Workshop attendance cannot be cancelled online, attendees need to call Mountain Training. If cancellations are received up to eight weeks before the course attendees will get a full refund. Less than eight weeks, but more than four weeks before the course, 50% refund. Less than four weeks before the course date no refund, unless a reserve is able to fill the slot. If a particular workshop has very low bookings it may not run and you will be offered an alternative. If the AGM or workshops can not run due to unexpected Covid-19 developments a full refund will be provided. 

Accommodation information: Full Weekend Residential option: Full board in shared accommodation. Breakfast on Saturday through to lunch on Sunday including AGM Dinner. £120.00 per person.
