Award Description
The Hill & Mountain Skills scheme is a great way to develop your personal skills and confidence in all elements of hill and mountain walking. From planning a coastal walk to navigating in complex terrain, these courses are an ideal opportunity to learn the basics and enjoy the countryside. THIS IS NOT THE HILL AND MOORLAND LEADER SCHEME.
About
Delivered by our team of passionate and professional instructors, the course will be run over 2 days in the Black Mountains.
Our Hill Skills & Mountain Skills courses are a practical introduction to the skills required to get started in hill and mountain walking. The courses aim to equip participants with the basic knowledge and essential safety skills required to start pursuing their own participation in hill and mountain walking as a leisure time activity.
Accommodation - A shared Bed & Breakfast option is available for either 1 or 2 nights. Should you not wish to share then you will need to book the non residential option and book your room directly with the venue.
