Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support.
The bleeding control course looks at epidemiology of major bleeds and the practical application of the latest evidence based practices to control life threatening bleeds.
40% of trauma death is caused by a preventable catastrophic external bleed. By applying the basics done really well, every time; these deaths can be prevented.
The workshop will be a mix of theory sessions and a big emphasis on the practical application of the techniques.
