Only 20 minutes from M6 J40! Avoid the crowds and traffic in the central Lakes and a very short walk in to venue.
Workshop run by Chris Harling, experienced ML Course Director and WMCI.
The aim is to simplify ML ropework to give you a clear understanding of the techniques suitable for ML. We will cover group management, anchor selection, rope handling, knots, belaying, system limitations and potential dangers to avoid. We will also look at Leader’s descent techniques as well as cover strategies for group management in steep ground and risk assessing such terrain. Importantly you will gain the confidence to look slick and perform well on your assessment course. There will be ample opportunities to ask questions and clarify any issues that came up in your training course.
If you at all anxious about this area of your ML assessment, this is the workshop for you - it will be delivered in a relaxed and personal manner allowing you to learn at your own pace and ask questions as you go - ensuring you are confident and competent before your assessment.
