Award Description
The Lowland Leader qualification has been designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions. The majority of the UK and Ireland is made up of this type of terrain so you'll never be short of places to go walking.
This course is based from the historic market town of Marlow, situated on the Thames, easily accessible by train from London. Excellent terrain that suits the award.
The training will start in West of Marlow, intro and chat, we will be walking in the surrounding lowland terrain, a vary of paths, trails, farm and wood land to gain the experience required for Lowland Leader training. Heather at Wildheather is a qualified mountain leader, secondary school teacher and D of E supervisor and assessor.
