Award Description
This qualification trains and assesses candidates in the skills required to lead hillwalking groups in summer conditions on mountainous routes not requiring the planned use of a rope. Established in 1964, this was the first qualification created by Mountain Training.
These courses are run under the umbrella of Pete Hill WMCI, one of the UK's foremost and best-known MTS-accredited course providers.
This course is being directed by Matt Heffer WMCI, a highly skilled and experienced MTS-registered director with a wealth of experience.

Based at Badaguish in the Glenmore area in the superb Cairngorm mountains, we have access to a variety of excellent mountain areas whatever the weather.
