A chance to get out before the winter season kicks off to refresh and revise winter mountaineering techniques. We will look at short roping in the context of a winter mountaineering journey, potentially revising snow anchors and following the avalanche awareness guidelines in consideration to planning and key places during the journey.
This day doesn't need snow but fingers crossed we'll get some! The plan is to have a big boot mountaineering day along a ridge or in a gully if conditions allow.
Cost is £40.00
