Award Description
The Lowland Leader qualification has been designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions. The majority of the UK and Ireland is made up of this type of terrain so you'll never be short of places to go walking.

Beyond the Edge are one of the UK's most experienced providers of Mountain Training qualifications with highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors.
We provide a mix of both theory and practical training to enable you to develop your skills at your own pace. We give detailed personalised feedback and action plans so that you can approach assessment as soon as possible and with confidence.

We regularly run the Lowland Leader course from our course base in the Peak District, but can also run the course from your school or at other venues if desired.
