WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES
Come along and refresh / develop your low visibility nav skills while networking and meeting other leaders. All walking award holders and trainees are welcome.
Making use of the Kirkhill Forrest orienteering course (https://forestryandland.gov.scot/images/pdf/rec_pdfs/Kirkhill-orienteering-map.pdf), this is a great opportunity to gain confidence in full darkness (sunset:15:36; Astronomical twilight ends 18:04; Moonrise after midnight).
We will spend about 2 hours on the course, which, due to the relatively short distances between stations, is plenty of time to practise various techniques.
Meet at 18:30 in the car park (NJ 853115).

Usual hill kit, suitable compass, headtorch, waterproofs.
