This workshop is aimed at anyone interested in taking their navigation to the next level. It is recommended that attendees have basic night navigation skills or have attended the Intro session.
This session is a progression from the Intro sessions, so we'll be looking at:
Adapting existing techniques
Fine tuning our focus
The session will take place at Gibbett Hill, on the Fairmile Road between Tebay & Sedbergh.
note: this road has had very difficult access from Sedbergh for a while, I recommend you arrive from Tebay. It is less than 10 minutes from j38 of the M6.
You will need either OL19 or an os print out centred on Gibbett Hill
OS Grid Ref: SD 62442 99530
This event is taking place in a remote location at night - so please bring everything you'd need to keep you safe and happy at night on the fell.
This is a peer to peer workshop - but will be led by Kelvyn James who is a working IML and works on Mountain Leader training and assessment courses.
