WORKSHOP CONTENT & LEARNING OUTCOMES

This is a minimal powerpoint, hands on session looking at the legeslations around the equipment we use and what the legal requirments are regarding checks, recording and use.

We will look at an array of equipment, how to inspect it and when we should probably dispose of it.

Get ready to see a few retro and very neglected bits of kit.

EQUIPMENT/KIT REQUIRED

The workshop is outside in lancashire, so bring both suncream and a waterproof it can go either way. There is some shelter we can utilise.

On the same day there will be other events as part of the Wilton Festival such as mountain rescue demos, Climbers against Cancer shop ( some other venders also) and some speackers/presenters later on. atendees are very welcome to make a day of it after the workshop.

CATERING/FOOD

None on the workshop, however there is tea, Coffe and cake for a small donation to CAC and if you stay for the evening there is FREE BEER!
