There are many reasons why you might feel the need for a refresher before you undertake your assessment. Maybe it's quite a few years since you did your training course, or perhaps you've already done your assessment, but you were deferred on one or more aspects of the syllabus. Whatever the reason, this course will sharpen your skills and prepare you for assessment. The detail of the programme will be dependent on the needs of the participants. We recommend leaving plenty of time between your refresher and your assessment or reassessment, so that you can absorb and practice any new information. The course is run by Chris Ensoll, International Mountain Guide and experienced course provider for Lowland Leader, Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor, and Climbing Wall Instructor. The maximum ratio is 1:6. If we have more than six bookings, we will bring in a second trainer who will be one of our regular staff members for our Mountain Leader courses.
